ReplyDeleteOn the off chance that Panic erroneously identified TRAIL shoes instead of running shoes, I got to researchin'...
In my travels, I got to relive NN buying Mr. NN's skivvies at the sporting goods store. Oy.
Here's my running shoe submission.

Neither Cl. Panic nor Stillman is correct. I'm looking for running shoes with three colors, not trail shoes with three colors or ordinary sneakers with two colors.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Well, then these look like your trusty asics.
ReplyDeleteMany men are color blind, but it looks like blue, purple and white. But stillman will try to catch me on a periwinkle technicality.
Ah! Yes, those are my trusty Asics! Cute, aren't they? "Blue, purple, and white" are close enough for me.

ReplyDeletewait till you see my bill.

Damn you Panic. What, no assist on calling him out on the wrong sneaks?
ReplyDeleteWell Stillman, at least I only made one guess in my initial stab. Your pick only had two colors!
ReplyDeleteNN, you're toast if Snakeye bills for a new 0.1 for each roll!
ReplyDeleteWhat, no assist on calling him out on the wrong sneaks?
ReplyDeleteMaybe he'll share the two points with you--you can have one and he can keep one. HAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAA!!! This game is so wack, man.
True that, NN. It took two wins today just to make up for her initial win.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the Chinese idiom for one step forward + 2 steps back?

What's the Chinese idiom for one step forward + 2 steps back?
You don't want to know.
You know what? Between our three households (the Panics, the Stillmans, and the Nus), we have the Wii, the PS3, and the XBox 360!

ReplyDeleteA: Asking Stillman to share the bacon.
I'd go with MMD. Not sure about the glaring though. Except when you insult pandas!
ReplyDeleteBoth are incorrect. The phrase is a place name and has to do with a holiday.

Christmas Tree Lane is correct!
ReplyDeleteMonkeyPig first referenced this on her trip to Oleta.
Here's the backstory. A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, MonkeyPig, Ca Loc, and Nonny Nu went on a road trip to Vegas. We drove Ca Loc's brand new Volvo. On the way home, MonkeyPig wanted to visit Christmas Tree Lane, which was described in her AAA Tour Book as a residential area where the residents have decorated all the trees like Christmas trees all year round. Ca Loc was against it from the start. She already allowed MonkeyPig to drive her car that day and wasn't even going to give in to yet another request from the two brats she was traveling with. Finally, she relented. What promised to be a lighthearted and festive excursion turned out to be a dirt and rock road (basically, off road) in the desert in Ca Loc's brand new car, culminating in a dead end with a few desert cacti "decorated" with paper plates. Ca Loc didn't say one word during the entire off road experience, but her eyes were blazing. When we finally got back to the highway, she immediately took the driving privileges away from MonkeyPig and sped off.
So that's the story of "Christmas Tree Lane." Whenever someone has a bright travel idea that turns sour, it is very appropriate to say, "Oh, this is Christmas Tree Lane all over again."

But i could be wrong. NN might have employed a hand model.
