  13. Oh i see how it is, on the off chance stillman actually reads the blog, she gets all three questions in a matter of 20 minutes?

    I'm going back to bed.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Now, don't get all down on Stillman. She wasn't asleep like some people...

    ReplyDelete
  15. I rolled out of my death bed every few hours this morning to check for new CotY questions; nothing!

    ReplyDelete
  16. oh boo hoo. despite several rule changes and referee calls deliberately designed to keep me down, I'm back. As NN said (in justifying keeping me down), the contest is as much about timing as knowledge. go blow your nose.

  20. Okay, if you're going to call Stillman to warn her that a new question's being posted, then just change the rules to declare her the winner.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I am as amazed as you are, Cl. Panic!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. MonkeyPig fell asleep while driving and almost crashed w/18 wheeler!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Looks like MP was almost killed by a pirate while shoplifting.

    See.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I don't think that's what that pirate was trying to do... (c'mon you know Mr. NN was gonna say it).

    ReplyDelete
  25. Wait, was MP even on the field trip with CaLoc? I need lessons in refugee-speak.

    ReplyDelete
  26. A little deductive reasoning... NN's comment confirms she was in the CALoc near-disaster van. NN is sister # (6?) and MonkeyPig is #5. If NN was young enough to wonder about arriving in the morning, then it seems likely MP also was young enough to be forced along, refugee-style.

    ReplyDelete
  27. "you know Mr. NN was gonna say it"

what did you expect? pirate is stiff as a board.

  34. Actually, NN, in response to your scroll, I was practicing "Danny Boy", the Irish Traditional, for throngs of Green Beer Swilling pseudo leprechauns at a St. Patrick's Day Fest. Only to have the wearin' o' the green turn into the wearin' o' the putrid scented chunks of an unidentified stagger-by leprechaun.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Correct.

Stillman, are you using a feed? Because I posted that question literally 2 minutes before you answered it.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I am white on rice. Flies on sh-t.

    ReplyDelete

  40. Was someone posing as you, Man from U.N.C.L.E.?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Question 34 is nixed. Sorry, Man from U.N.C.L.E. I don't know who that imposter is, but they spoiled the question for everyone.

  44. tough one.

    Winston and Cotton?

(can't find photo/description of Cotton but described as doberman... i.e. black?)

    ReplyDelete
  45. Winston is correct. Though not all dobermans are black, Cotton Doggie was.

I was actually thinking about another doggie (other than Cotton) but you are right.

    ReplyDelete
  46. huh... very curious what other dog, don't see any more photos than Winston.

    Need last (1) point please.

  47. question #36 r---

oops, lookie here. hmm, there's a bit of dirt on this die. i'll have to get back to you.

    ~ ~ ~

    ReplyDelete
  48. Dude, have you cleared out MP's Florida trip pictures/travel log/ etc.? My browser won't go back before June of 2007, and it is handicapping me to get these answers right.

    ReplyDelete
  49. To quoteth MFU: "Wah!"

Nope, the travelogue is still there.

    ReplyDelete
  50. No, I haven't cleared out any photos. They are all there. Unless you are talking about MonkeyPig's photos on that "photofish" or whatever site. Those are her own. But, before I ask any question, I always check to make sure the photo or text is there for the finding.

  56. The answer about the two black dogs, by the way, should be Lucy and Winston.

Puhhhhlease. Offers to sell and/or extort fall outside the definition of "will."

    ReplyDelete
  61. Actually, the word used in the rule was "gift" - if, to you, the definition of that word includes extort and sell then you have bigger problems. :)

    ReplyDelete
  62. Ummm hmmm, a "gift".

That's sweet! But my mind motor is stalled and still recovering from a lost weekend that's turned into a lost week. Prepping for our org.'s big holiday service event on Easter. I'll come back with a vengeance after 3/28/08!!!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Hey, Man from U.N.C.L.E.! Sorry, I screwed up on the question. I was thinking of Lola and Winston when I wrote the question, but I forgot about Cotton. So, when Stillman answered Winston and Cotton, she was right, even though I had forgotten about Cotton. One of the rules is that the answer must be found on the blog. Cotton was described as a doberman and, even though there is no photo of him, dobermans generally (and Cotton in particular) are black (with golden brownish highlights). So, even though I was thinking of Lola and Winston, Stillman still answered the question correctly.

But, what I am concerned about is you being away until 3/28! WHHHHHYYYYYYYYYY????? I vehemently disagree with your stated intentions, sir.
