I am very sad today because I received a text message from Stubbie's Godmother telling me that Stubbie had passed on. Cl. Panic's secretary found him early this morning. He had still been swimming around and around last night when I left to go home. Poor thing. I don't think I'll get another fish. Instead, Cl. Panic had the brilliant idea of getting two plants and putting Stubbie at the bottom of one of them. That's just what I'll do.
Memorial services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4pm PST in my office. All are welcome.
Coach Nelson says:
ReplyDeleteStub was a dear friend and will be missed. Stub always impressed me with his fondness for fine tasting food and his ability to swim laps without complaining.
Yes, Stubbie has always quietly endured everything sent his way. He was always good for some quiet time to take my mind off a tough project or a late night. He was always there for me.
ReplyDeletenon, chuck says he wants to go to work. says he doesn't care what kind of work, but he says he knows how to file. ??? maybe now is a good time for him to visit the office? he says that i'm boring--although he does appreciate my feeding him often--and that he needs more excitement and interaction (esp. office kind) in his fish life. matter of fact, since he got word of stubbie, i see a briefcase on his fin.
ReplyDeleteoh, please, chuck.
now he has spectacles on, working on a ten-key. hey! you got the job! enough.
he's sharpening pencils.
Alas! Stubbie, We hardly knew ye!
ReplyDeleteStubby's life was far too stub... er, short. :(
ReplyDeleteBeware potential unwanted odor from fish plant fertilizer.
Chuck's such a tool. He's Skadden material.
Chuck's a good boy. He has been nothing but pleasant. He's a real go getter. I think I'm going to have him help me with these charts.
ReplyDelete*sigh*
I miss Stubbie.
Let Chuck in and he'll be gunning for your job. Just sayin. We've all seen the type.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry. If Chuck starts gunning for my job, I'll just overfeed him and he'll just flop over like Stubbie did.
ReplyDelete*cries*
Tubbie send his condolence. Tubbie is a blue beta and had been with me since Frank (Had Frank for 4 yrs) died during my deployment. Tubbie is more blue this afternoon when he got word about Stubbie's death.
ReplyDeleteI think Chuck'll be a good addition to Stubs. Becareful about using the same bowl. Whatever kill Stub might still be in it.
I agree with Sluggy...Confucius says..dead fish in water...makes fish sauce smell.
How did he die? beta fish is very low maintain how was this happen? I think you should get a new fish; not to replace stubbie but just to keep you company at late night working. I got few of them, but they die I am thinking to get on for myself too.
ReplyDeleteStubbie got constipated and died, I think. I over fed him. It was very sad.
