R.I.P. Grasshopper

David Carradine passed away. I loved him in Kung Fu and also Kill Bill. But, mostly Kung Fu. He always seemed so at peace with himself. I'm very surprised that he hanged himself.

*moment of silence*

RIP Mr. Carradine. May angels lead you in.

I use to watch old "Kung Fu" episodes with my dad and "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues with my sister. I enjoyed his comeback with Kill Bill. His (horrible) death comes as a complete shock to me. he's one of those people who I childishly believed would be around forever. :-<

Whoa! I just read that. I never would've thought.

I'm still incredibly depressed that he's gone, but I'm kind of relieved he wasn't murdered or commited suicide.

i know just what you mean.

murder? tragic. suicide? heartbreaking.

but, there's something about going that extra mile to get off that i think we can all respect and admire.

Well, at least he went with a smile on his face. That is better than suicide or murder.

The first celebrity death that really shocked and saddened me was the death of John Ritter. I used to watch Three's Company when I was a kid and, like PurpleNiobe saw Carradine, thought that he would be around forever.
