I've finally gotten a chance to take a breath, and one of my favorite things to do is take a book with me to a restaurant and just read and eat by myself. I just love doing that. So, I went to Barnes and Noble to get a new batch of books. I selected Sex and the City by Candace Bushnell, and Dracula by Bram Stoker. So far, Dracula has completely captured my attention. I can see why has lasted over a hundred years (it was first published in 1897) and will probably last for another hundred years (easy). Sex and the City is not bad, but it's no Dracula.

Picture Keanu Reeves as the hero. That should ruin it for you!
GAWD, I hate that guy. I can't believe they asked him to play Jonathan Harker. But, you now what's funny? My sisters and I grew up watching Dracula movies staring Christopher Lee. We always made fun of the movies because they always used "Lucy" and "Mina" as the names of the women. We thought it was due to a lack of imagination. But, we were wrong because the women in the book are named "Lucy" and "Mina."
