Do I need to refrigerate this?

So, I have embarked on a healthier eating journey. Today, I had a salad of mixed greens, alfalfa sprouts, beets, tomatoes, and grilled chicken with Newman's Own Balsamic Vinaigrette. Roughage, you know? It was pretty tasty.

Now, check out the ingredients of the salad dressing. Nothing that seems to need refrigerating. Yet, the bottle says "Refrigerate After Opening." Do you guys think that's just on there to be safe? I don't want to refrigerate my dressing. I think I'm just going to keep it on my shelf. What do you think?

But it's all tightly sealed from the air by the oil and floating in a sea of vinegar...?

no, no, n3. Why not make a delightfully natural dressing with your own vinegar, virgin oil, a dash of salt, a pinch of sugar, salt and pepper to taste? That's natural. Paul Newman may have beeyoutiful blue eyes, but his salad dressings? You n3, deserve better!

the goddess dressing from trader joe's is yummy - but also needs refrigerating.

I'm joining the make your own dressing boat. That way you can control how much oil and how much vinegar there is. Hint: You don't need much oil.

Or throw some dijon mustard in with the oil & vinegar, add some pepper and you're off!

Madame cookie, I am already making my own salad. Now, you want me to make my own salad dressing? Should I make my own shoes next? Sheesh! I can only cook so much. I'm an eater, not a cooker, in case you have not noticed. But, I will try out your recipe and see how it goes...

Guys, I did not refrigerate Paul. I'm going to have some more of Paul today, so if you never hear from me again, you'll know why.

Hey, a touch of food poisoning should cause more weight loss than eating salad, so go ahead and swig Paul from the bottle!

oh, you don't make your shoes??? My bad. . .by all means go for the bottle.
