As is consistent with her competitive personality, MonkeyPig will be running the El Paso Marathon this Sunday!! MP regularly runs 8 miles about 3 times a week. Last year, she just decided to run the marathon one morning and registered on the day. She finished 3rd in her age group for women, at 4 hours and 30 minutes. This year, I am taking guesses on how long you think MP will take to finish the race. Guess the time (first come first serve basis) and the winner will receive an undisclosed prize applicable to a future TWoNN game!

My guess is 4:18.
BTW, I was just looking at the course map and can definitely tell the race is sponsored by "Michelob". The course looks like it was plotted by two dudes who finished a case of beer between them before they staggered throughout El Paso. It zig zags and doubles back like the dude's had to map every bush they took a leak behind. Maybe they were looking for the keys that fell out of their pockets when the kneeled to hurl.
Boy...the pressure is on. I am not sure I can beat the time this year. It was calm last year. The weather is supposed to be windy -- up to 45 mph gusts. I am hoping the gusts are coming from the butt direction.
Beer..they give you free beer when you are finished. What an ironic thing...So, you've extremely dehydrated after running 26+ miles. So, lets drink alcohol to get make the dehydration worst. But, I guess if you're drunk, all the pain will go away.

Heard from MonkeyPig earlier (she sounded a little tipsy). She came in at 4:23--old girl took FOUR bathroom breaks. Congratulations to MonkeyPig for a job well done, and congratulations to myself for winning the guess! (I get 5 points for a future TWoNN competition.)
