Carrots is correct.

Again with the questions to Panic about his own posts! So guest bloggers have this advantage AND guest blogger multiplier!

Cl. Panic said...

Since Stillman is into rule changes that adversely affect her, how about negative points for wrong guesses?

Nonny Nu said...

It shouldn't matter who wrote the entry! It's on the blog.

Cl. Panic said...

That's the "graffiti" you left.

Nonny Nu said...

Now that you have identified the writing, what does it refer to?

Nonny Nu said...

I am afraid that negative points for wrong guesses would have a chilling effect.

Cl. Panic said...

(YAY, GIANTS!)

Cl. Panic said...

Again with the questions to Panic about his own posts!

Puh-lease.

What about that question that referred to the chick flick you watched with NN? I didn't hear your characteristic whine when you were given that slow pitch. And guessed wrong.

stacey said...

What about that question that referred to the chick flick you watched with NN?

That question was not "what movie did Stillman and I watch," it was what movie inspired her Anglophilia. Obviously I could not know that.

I didn't hear your characteristic whine . . .

Must have been drowned out by your girl screams as you were taking your beating the past few days.

Cl. Panic said...

I've noticed that when I don't play you're able to score some points. If I recall, you took the lead when I was sick, and now that I'm off on vacation without regular internet access you've made some ground again since nobody's able to interrupt your guessing with actual answers.

stacey said...

"18-1" refers to New England's record before being beaten by the Giants in the Superbowl the day of that hike.

Does anyone else hear white noise? It's kind of a sporadic crackling... hm, no worries, eventually the ear becomes deaf to it.

stacey said...

revise that answer. the "1" is the loss to the Giants. That is New England's record after the 'bowl.

Cl. Panic said...

Which was already addressed by my followup, as reflected on the blog.

stacey said...

(YAY GIANTS!) is not a sufficient explanation of what "18-1" refers to.

Cl. Panic said...

That question was not "what movie did Stillman and I watch,"

Oh, sorry I guess I misread the question, I didn't notice that it said "what did Cl. Panic photograph Mr. Nonny Nu eating?" the first time I read it.

Cl. Panic said...

Well, you explanation of 18-1 did not appear on the blog, where all answers must come from.

Cl. Panic said...

Can MFU come back? He's so much more pleasant.

Stillman -- don't worry, I won't have internet access all day tomorrow, and will be trapped on planes all day Wednesday, so you should have plenty of time to take the lead then.

Actually, it is on the blog from the previous day but you were too busy posting baby lawyer arguments to bother to look:

"Plus, SuperBowl will be on tomorrow!! I don't really know these two teams. I really only started watching football during the finals. But, Tom Brady? NO THANKS. (No, I'm not a Bridget Moynahan fan.) And, that 18-0 record? It must be vandalized..."

Aw, poor you out of the office. Don't you have an iPhone, Apple employee? When you've played TWoNNCOtY with a 7 month old baby on your lap pounding your keyboard, then we'll talk.

Cl. Panic said...

I'm glad you were able to find that after I pointed you to the answer. And you still chimed in with an incorrect guess the first time you penned your comment!

Cl. Panic said...

NN: I believe that you were poking fun of the Patriots when you vandalized the rock and making fun of their imperfect season thanks to the NY Giants.

stacey said...

Panic, stop your whining. You found other answers after my incorrect answers revealed what she was generally referring to.

Too late on the answer. Better luck next time.

Cl. Panic said...

Whatever... in the past the thread has been locked for followups, though I noticed you didn't wait before going off on your little tirade.

Guess your success in my absence has made you really eager to take the lead.

stacey said...

well mostly our dictator's arbitrariness benefits you but sometimes it doesn't. Welcome to doesn't.

Guess your success in my absence has made you really eager to take the lead.

are you implying that I should not participate when your schedule makes you less available? Because you seem to be really eager to ruin your vacation by being uselessly argumentative with some stranger on the internet.

Cl. Panic said...

I should not participate when your schedule makes you less available?

Not at all, but I notice your participation is muted when others are around with a teaspoon of TWoNN knowledge...

But as much as you like to complain about being un-favored, you've been made clearly aware of my absences by the Bunnymaster, who has also added a ton of bonus points to the mix during those times.

stacey said...

the same Bunnymaster you work with, whose movements and postings you have far more access to than others, who outed my 'refreshing' of the blog to find new questions as well as my unavailability at specific times? the one who tosses softballs to you about your own posts? who indicated she is bribeable with your foodstuffs, which you have supplied a'plenty? that Bunnymaster?

Cl. Panic said...

Was that the 7 month old crying or you?

stacey said...

I notice your participation is muted when others are around with a teaspoon of TWoNN knowledge...

Um, no. Try looking for a real trend instead of immediately jumping to nefarious motivations. I am just slower than you. Your absence allows others to find answers by the time you normally would have preemptively jumped on it. Uncle is the slowest, and gets answers when you and I are asleep or occupied. You obviously are bugged by not being first in line at all times, so I suggest you either cut your vacation short or let it go because you're only going to continue to work yourself into a tizzy.

Anonymous said...

yeah, the problem with rabbits is that they like to jump around. go to grab one and you just might end up with a handful of air, the damned rabbit on the other side of the lawn shaking it's whiskers at you, just having enough time to grab a mouthful before your second try.

Exactly, Mr. NN. Panic can't handle being closer to even ground for once.

Nonny Nu said...

Good grief. I go to lunch and chaos ensues--I LOVE IT!

Haha! Okay, just kidding.

Quite honestly, I found the "(YAY, GIANTS!)" answer to be at least sufficient to warrant a lock. This is because the phrase identifies the team that won the SuperBowl. But, since I was absent and didn't actually lock the question, and sluggy provided the most accurate answer (the Patriots' record after the SuperBowl--YAY, GIANTS!), I have decided to split the baby on this one. Both Cl. Panic and sluggy get credit for this one, and because they showed such spirit in fighting for the points, each also get a bonus roll.

To recap, for this question, Snakeye, please roll four times. The first roll will be for the question itself and the points will be split 50/50 between Cl. Panic and sluggy. The second roll will be for sluggy's spirit and the third roll will be for Cl. Panic's spirit. Ladies first because I know that under those feisty exteriors, sluggy is a lady(bug) and Cl. Panic is a gentleman. The fourth roll will be for Mr. Nonny Nu's at his very accurate portrayal of bunnies here.

My efforts are a true tortoise and the hare story here at TWoNN.

stacey said...

:(

It wasn't a dig. I never would have noticed if you hadn't asked the other day "why am I so slow?" which led me to reflect on the various players in this thing as I washed dishes.

Bonus points to Man from U.N.C.L.E. for being slowest!

Wow! Look at those times! Cl. Panic was first with the correct answer: A little girl.

Nonny Nu trivia: Because I was such a cute little bunny growing up, none of my older sisters ever had the heart to discipline me. Wah Toh once tried to spank me, but we both started to laugh half way through!

Haha!! Okay, so this (back)story was related to me by 3-fish. Back in Vietnam, my parents were getting ready to escape in the dead of night. They got us tickets (all 8 of us--2 parents plus 6 kids) to go on three fishing boats to Malaysia. We all had to split up as we were heading toward the boats so that nobody would be suspicious. My parents assigned 3-fish the task of taking the toddler (Nonny Nu at the age of 2) to the boat. When 3-fish told me this story, she said that she has always wondered why our parents assigned her (the dimmest one in the family--HER WORDS, NOT MINE!) that task.

Nonny Nu said...

I would like to add that 3-fish is not dim at all. She earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and also makes a mean agar agar with egg dessert. I always bug her to make that dessert whenever we have a family reunion.

Nonny Nu said...

Wow, so I didn't know that scientists use agar to make cultures and whatnot. But, it is also good for making desserts. I couldn't find a picture of the dessert that 3-fish makes but think of egg drop soup and imagine the egg drop suspended in something like this. It's very good, especially if there is a layer of coconut milk on the top.

stacey said...

Maybe they hoped she'd lose you. HAHAHHAHAHHAHAH!

Nonny Nu said...

==:o<

I prefer to think that they hadn't grown attached to me yet, and was hoping that I'd weigh 3-fish down (because they'd had some time to become familiar with her).

stacey said...

You'd also make good food if the boats got stranded en route! Refugee veal. Just MMD.

Wow, that just crossed the line into really not cool.

I had no idea you'd changed names for such a purpose and I apologize if I'd missed that comment somewhere during my travels. I thought it changed to match your latest picture.

When this all began I had no idea that you had any issues with your prior screen name; you've used it for almost a year.

I guess I'm done joking with you. Ever.
